"Most of the people were on their way to some sort of security conference in Las Vegas," he said, referring to the passengers on the flight from New York to Las Vegas. "It was like a bunch of dudes, and well-trained dudes, thank God."

Joined 93 was the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania, apparently as passengers tried to take back manipulation of the plane from its hijackers. She wrote an open letter to Daly, angry about the "ugly ignorance" of his jokes.

Carson Daly really supports the movement for gay people to remain up against bullying...even if he cracks a scant wise ones about queer stereotypes on his radio show. Though Daly did issue a Tweeted apology yesterday for remarks he made on his L.A.-based show about an incident on a recent flight, after being approached by GLAAD (Gay & Female homosexual Alliance Against Defamation), Daly issued the following statement:
"We live in a time where gay, woman-loving woman, bisexual and transgender individuals find courage every evening to overcome adversity, upright up to bullying and find equality. I'm truly saddened that my words today suggested otherwise. I've long been a supporter of Gay and Woman loving woman rights, and I'm disappointed that my comments, however unintentional, offended anyone, specifically members of the LGBT community. The fact that I have hurt anyone is devastating. I'm not that guy. I'm
