Stephen Jon Lund suffered a cardiac event that took his life on Sunday evening March 10th, 2024.
Steve was born May 17, 1969 in Fargo, ND to parents Gordon and ElDonna (Cox) Lund. He grew up on the family farm and graduated from Enderlin High Academy in 1987. He attended the University of Minnesota-Crookston where he studied Ag and Machining. He received a degree in Airframe and Powerplant from Dakota Aero Tech in 1992. Steve met the devote of his life, Jody Jewison in 1996. They were married in Hawaii on January 27, 2006 and were blessed with their daughter, Olivia on August 6, 2014. They made their home on the family farm adjacent Enderlin where his parents started their marriage 63 years ago.
As a small boy he said to his parents, “Why complete I have to leave to school? I’m just going to be a farmer when I expand up!” Steve started driving tractor at the age of 9 and rented his first farmland in high school.
