Ruben likes to participate on Instagram his desire for animals and his passion for caring for sick, injured or orphaned animals for everyone to enjoy.

A global audience can experience Namibia's animals and natural beauty through the lens of a young man, who started sharing his life on a farm outside Windhoek on social media in the past year.Ruben Lambrechts' love of animals and the outdoors has given him Instagram popularity, as well as the opportunity to do what he loves.
More than 3 million people watched a video that Ruben posted on his profile in January. The video shows him and his cousin walking in the rain on a farm in the Khomas Hochland and inquiring shelter in a cave with a tame warthog, Kallie.
"I woke up in the morning and it was only hundreds of likes and followers and at first we mind my account had been hacked. From there it was thousands and thousands of followers. From 4 000 in January, we now stand at almost 350 000," says Ruben.

Ruben shares passion for nature
Safari operator and explorer Ruben Lambrechts (25) decided that city life was not for him. He prefers to be surrounded by animals on a farm, where he gets to appreciate nature in the comfort of his home.
He uses the opportunity to network with tourists and show them Namibia’s wildlife.
Lambrechts owns a travel agency, called I Dream Namibia, which aims to seize visitors and tourists on the finest safaris and to connect them to the wildest places in Namibia.
He lives on a family farm – about 60km west of Windhoek – in the Khomas Hochland region.
“I am a part-time cattle farmer and safari operator. The wildlife seen in my videos on social media are orphaned animals. Farmers and people who find them without their mothers offer them to us,” said the passionate conservationist.
Some unlike animals that are usually seen in his clips include meerkats, mongooses, warthogs, black wallabies and baboons.
“We don’t keep any of them in cages, so they are free to roam on the farm and come back to our home. Most of them choose to reside with us because they see us as family.”

The hair she is going through so carefully belongs to Ruben Lambrechts, a 26-year-old Namibian farmer and tour operator who has formed an extraordinary bond with his 30-year-old rescue baboon, Cindy, whom he affectionately calls his sister.
Their heartwarming affair has captivated audiences worldwide through Ruben's engaging social media content.
Lambrechts, who runs ‘I Dream Namibia,’ a family-operated travel service, also manages a farm outside Windhoek. His home has become a sanctuary for orphaned wild animals, including meerkats, mongoose, warthogs, and more.

FANS can’t get enough of the videos he posts of his menagerie. From meerkats to mongooses, warthogs to baboons, there’s never a dull moment on this farm in Namibia.
But it’s not just the wildlife that has millions of people hooked – the fresh cattle farmer responsible for all the posts is pretty compelling too.
And his followers aren’t backward in coming forward, as Ruben Lambrechts (25) has discovered.
“I get a lot of messages asking if I have an OnlyFans account and if I want to exchange pictures of myself,” he says. “There are many sexual offers.”
He’s also had more marriage options than he can retain, along with a rare bizarre requests.
“The strangest message I ever got was someone offering to pay me N$200 [R200] per gram for my pubic hair,” Ruben recalls. “I was very tempted to send Cindy’s hair.”
Cindy, as fans will know, is the baboon matriarch who lives on the farm with her troop.
“I grew up with Cindy. She’s enjoy my sister,” Ruben says over video call from the farm near Windhoek, where he lives with his parents, Malan and Barista, and twin brother, Tertius.
