Ex-KISS Guitarist VINNIE VINCENT Addresses Rumors About His Gender Identity

Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent has addressed rumors about his gender self.

In recent years, Vincent has been the subject of wild online speculation, including that he has been cross-dressing and that he has undergone a sex change. In addition, Vincent was the attention of a 2017 Swedish TV documentary called "KISS Och Gitarristen Som Försvann" ("KISS And The Guitarist Who Disappeared") which apparently tried, unsuccessfully, to footpath Vinnie down and obtain him to sit down for an interview. The filmmakers also brought up the rumor that the musician was living his life as a lady, although the subject was reportedly left open-ended.

During a brand new interview with Greg Schmitt of WESU's syndicated radio show "Noize In The Attic", Vinnie finally responded to the Internet chatter about his sexuality but declined to answer the question directly, explaining that he wanted to keep a mystique about the subject.

What Kiss’ Ace Frehley and Bruce Kulick Think of Vinnie Vincent

Like many of us, Bruce Kulick and Ace Frehley don't sound to have Vinnie Vincent figured out quite yet.

In separate recent interviews, the two former Kiss manage guitarists shared their thoughts on the famously reclusive Vincent, who replaced Frehley in the group in 1982 but was dismissed early in 1984 over creative and personal differences.

"Vinnie Vincent played too fast," Frehley told Guitar Player. "I never paid much attention to him as far as anything else. I know that Paul [Stanley] used to protest to me about Vinnie. He said that he was like a loose cannon and that he played things too speedy, and they couldn't command him."
