Malcolm Gladwell Biography, Age
Gladwell was born on September 3, 1963 in Fareham, Hampshire, England. His full name at birth is Malcolm Timothy Gladwell. He was born to a pair of accomplished individuals. The family lived in rural Canada and by the hour he was six years old, the family moved from Southampton to Elmira, Ontario, Canada. Twenty-five years ago, Malcolm Gladwell published his first publication, The Tipping Point: How Little Things Make a Big Difference. Two people came to the first stop on his manual tour: a stranger, and the mother of one of his friends.
But, like the epidemics it analyzed, the book started to spread. Eventually, the phrase “tipping point” became common lingo to portray sudden shifts in behavior.
Now Gladwell has written a new, often-darker version: Revenge of the Tipping Point: Overstories, Superspreaders, and the Rise of Social Engineering.

Stars You Were Surprised to Learn We're *Not* Gay?
In the 80's I was convinced Ray Parker, Jr. was gay.
He gave an interview where he was talking about all the groupies that were constantly throwing themselves at him, and that he didn't ever fuck any of them. He said something to the effect of "so, I am always labeled as 'gay' because I'm not out there having all this sex with all these women. That's okay, I don't mind it if that's what they think." I was like, "aha! No straight man would ever say that!"
A little later, he came out with that song "Girls Are More Fun", and I thought "Hmmm. He's just trying to deflect all the rumors about him." After that, he faded from the music scene, and I just assumed he settled in to happy gay domesticity. Decades later, I see some interview with him in a magazine, and he's married to a lady and has all these kids.
He's probably wishing he fucked a few of those groupies way assist in the day, though.
