HOTspots Events’ mission is to provide protected space social and cultural events for the Queer community. Our events range from monthly recurring engagements to our annual affairs and pride celebrations.
Nonprofit Statement: HOTspots Events is a division of HOTspots Happening Out, a dynamic alliance of 501(c)3 nonprofits together in their commitment to enhancing the well-being of South Florida’s LGBTQ+ society and its allies. Through a multifaceted approach encompassing events, television programming, reproduce media, captivating video content, and engaging social media, we channel all resources and funding towards improving the social, cultural, and educational facets of our mission, serving our wonderfully diverse community.
Our unified partnership of non-profits include Stonewall Pride, HOTspots Magazine, Happening Out Television Network, Wilton Manors Entertainment Group – WMEG, PrideFête, Art Amble Wilton Manors, Taste of the Island Wilton Manors, Black Pride Cookout, Lgbtq+ News Tonight, Pride Skate Night, Happening Out Journey, Sculpture Walk Wilton Manors, The FayWhat?! Show, and Pride on the Drive.

It’s official. After years of false starts, Hotspots Happening Out announced today that a brand-new future is born for Pride Fort Lauderdale.
In February it was announced that the former Pride nonprofit board voted to dissolve and transfer Pride Fort Lauderdale to Hotspots Happening Out.
When Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis found out he said: "I'm pleased to hear that Identity festival Ft. Lauderdale has taken on a worthy companion in joining forces with the Stonewall Pride Hotspots Happening Out Organization. Jeff Sterling and his team offer amazing talent and broad experience in producing successful events. I'm looking forward to working with them for the accomplishment of our entire community."
Pride Fort Lauderdale March and Festival will be held on Saturday, February 14; Valentine's Day.
