Gaybros

simple & gayforward

Alex DeLuca is the founder of Gaybros. The following quote is taken from the notice of the video above:

You know, I think over the course of the past decade or so, being gay or attracted to both genders has become increasingly more acceptable. But the oppose is that, it has done so with a very narrow definition of what being gay is. So for guys enjoy myself, who like sports and Xbox and paintball, they don&#;t really fit this definition. And I think a lot of young men out there, are afraid to receive who they really are, because they feel appreciate if they do they&#;ll have to change. When the reality is, they don&#;t. And that was really the driving compel behind the creation of Gaybros.

I first came across the term &#;gaybros&#; in the comment section of a post in Towleroad, probably about a month or so ago. Unfortunately I didn&#;t think to save it, and I can&#;t find it now. I guess the legal title was brought up with regards to the person discussed in the upload, but I do keep in mind the commenter also remarking that &#;gaybros&#; had yet to be featured or discussed in Towleroad.

My curiosity was piqued, quickly turned to fascination, and as I read them and about them more

Gaybros: Straight to Gay First Time MM

After graduating college, I decide to clash at my best friend’s house for a scant weeks to enjoy the summer. We spend our days lounging by the pool with the residence all to ourselves. Skillfully, except for Luke, my best friend’s older brother.

Luke is the coolest guy I’ve ever met. He’s a handsome jock with a great body and he immediately makes me feel welcome at their house. But when my best friend tells me his brother is queer, I can’t believe it.

I’ve always been a petite bicurious and learning that Luke is gay stirs something inside me. I suddenly can’t take my eyes off his stunning, muscular body and I find myself fantasizing about him all day long.

When I catch him skinny dipping in the pool late one night, I can’t help but monitor. Turns out Luke doesn’t mind putting on a show, and when he sees me watching, he invites me to skip in with him. As soon as I dive in the deep finish, I know that I’m a gaybro just appreciate him. And I’ll allow Luke do anything he wants to do to me.

  4. “Leather” Usually Conjures Images of Butch Gay Men. But a Gender-Inclusive Scene in L.A. Is Creating Its Control Kinky Magic.

You’ve probably heard of the plan of a queer “scene,” perhaps most often from people who don’t concern for it. But what, exactly, is this scene? Who’s a part of it? Who isn’t? Who decides? Is there more than one? What happens when a scene evolves—or when it doesn’t? These are the questions we’ve gathered a group of writers to consider for an Outward special issue on “The Scene” in LGBTQ life today. You can read all of the stories in the issue here, and you can listen to a full episode of the Outward podcast covering more of the queer scene by subscribing on iTunes, Spotify, or wherever you get your audio.

At the age of 21, I deleted every show tune off my iPod Video and disciplined my wavy hair into an almost-military buzzcut. Now, I decided,

Meet the Gaybros

It’s a snowy Saturday night in Boston, and the bros are moving in pack formation. As we trudge through the fresh powder toward South End, the 10 or so guys I’m walking with jostle and joke their way forward through the frigid atmosphere, bouncing with that particular surge of giddy force you sometimes get when you’re hanging out with people you have never met in real life.

As members of Gaybros—a Reddit-based community for gay guys with traditionally manly interests like sports, hunting, and beer—the large majority of their bonding takes place through comment threads under topics like “Ron Swanson vs. James Bond” and “My Gay Card Has Been Revoked.” But in cities like Boston, Novel York, L.A., Toronto, and even London, they experiment to regularly “meet-up” at a local restaurant or bar, exchanging Reddit’s upvotes and downvotes for proper handshakes and side-hugs. These “IRL” encounters can, understandably, feel awkward at first, as this one did when we had all gathered for dinner earlier in the evening at a crowded Italian cafeteria. Much of the conversation revolved around how the so-called bartender had asked if seltzer was a spirit. But bros creature bros, the group made the
